Financial Assistance
There is no other nonprofit quite like the Y.
The Y is, and always will be, dedicated to building healthy, confident, connected and secure children, adults, families and communities. The Y makes accessible the support and opportunities that empower people and communities to learn, grow and thrive.
It is the policy of the YMCA that no one is denied the benefit of membership or program participation due to personal financial hardship. We encourage people who are in need of financial assistance to contact the Donald W. Reynolds YMCA for application information. The process is simple and confidential.
Things you’ll need to apply for scholarship:
- Copy of Federal Income Tax Return or Schedule C of 1040 is self-employed.
- Copy of your most recent W-2 and/or 1099 forms.
- Copy of your most recent wage stub for all working members of your family.
- Copy of your most recent wage stub for all working members of your family.
- Copy of documents relating to any other taxed or non-taxed income: alimony, child support, social security, pension, disability payments, food stamps, etc.
- Proof of Federal Free or Reduced Lunch Program participation.
- Completed Scholarship Application (can be picked up at the YMCA front desk)
At the Donald W. Reynolds YMCA, no individual will be turned away due to the inability to pay. Financial assistance is granted based on need and funds available through contributions made to the YMCA Annual Support Campaign.
